2011 for Studio Sebastien Leon
– Project Credits
Design - Studio Sebastien Leon
Production - Studio Sebastien Leon
Produced for Studio Sebastien Leon, Leontophone was commissioned by shoe designer Brian Atwood for his showroom in New York City.
Inspired by the snake leather utilized in many of Atwood's pieces, the sculpture is composed of 105 mirrored hexagon panels which reflect the surrounding environment, and can be individually tilted to showcase shoes.
This project was produced while Edwin Liu was a contractor for Studio Sebastien Leon. Edwin Liu was the Project Designer responsible for conceptual development models, renderings and drawings, as well as the Design Development phase of the project.
